Our Beliefs.

• We believe that the entire Bible is the God-breathed, inspired Word of God useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

• We believe there is one, true God, holy, almighty, everlasting, perfect and the only object of worship. We believe that God exists in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, all equal in power, glory and deity.

• We believe that God created everything out of nothing. We believe that He created man in His image to reign over all of His earthly creation.

• We believe man was created with free will. Adam and Eve exercised that free will when they chose to disobey God and eat of the fruit they were told not to eat. Through this act, suffering, sin, and death entered the world.

• We believe that when sin entered the world, it caused a separation between God and all of humanity. This gap can never be bridged on our own merit. Nothing we do can ever reconcile the broken relationship with God caused by sin.

• We believe God provided the only way to restore our relationship with Him. While we were yet sinners, God loved us so much that He gave His one and only Son Jesus Christ to die for us.

• We believe that Jesus came to earth 100% God and 100% man and was the only sacrificial lamb worthy of satisfying God’s wrath against our sin. Jesus lived a sinless life, voluntarily died on the cross, was buried, and then rose again from the grave to purchase a place in heaven for us, which He now offers as a free gift.

• We believe this free gift is received by grace, through faith. It is the result of a transfer of trust to Jesus Christ alone and His finished work on the cross.

• We believe that God’s grace is not only all-sufficient for eternal life in heaven, but it is also all-sufficient for our life on earth here and now. Through His grace, we can all live out an intimate and personal relationship with God right now prior to living out our eternal relationship with Him in heaven following our physical death.

• We believe that nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus. Because of His great love for us, God truly cares about all the things in life that we care about. Not only does He care, but He also cares enough to step in and do something about it.

• We believe that in Jesus, there are no hopeless situations, only those who have grown hopeless about their situation. Therefore, we believe it is necessary to resurrect hope, and doing so can literally mean the difference between life and death. To resurrect hope, we point people to the God of hope.

• We believe that since our relationship with the Lord Jesus is the only thing we will carry into eternity, He places paramount importance on this relationship. Therefore, He will go to any length to develop, strengthen and mature that relationship with each and every one of us. One of the most important ways God chooses to do this is through pain and suffering. There seems to be no other way to effectively teach us certain things about Him and to mold our character and image to one that more reflects His.

• We believe that God also uses our suffering and pain to show us how much we need Him. Fortunately, we believe that Jesus ever lives to intercede for us. Therefore, if we choose to ask God for help and allow Him to work in our lives according to His ways and plans, He will provide for all of our spiritual, emotional and physical needs. If we submit our life and ways to God, no matter how much pain we go through, He will never leave us to endure it alone and He will always make a way for us to overcome it.

• We believe that God is in the business of change. We believe that your past and your present are not the deciding factors in your future, Jesus Christ is. We believe that God can and will use our trials and pain to transform us and bring us to a better place, one that is full of His presence. We believe that obedience is key to this principle. We must allow God to work His transformation process in us and trust that His ways and plan are best.

• We believe that out of your greatest pain comes your greatest opportunity to minister. God has a plan and a purpose for all of us. We are called to and we can live out that plan and purpose in a way that impacts our world for Jesus Christ and draws others into His kingdom.

Core Values and Behavior

In fulfilling the purpose and vision of H.O.P.E., the leaders and employees of this organization commit to treating our families, each other, those with whom we interact, those with whom we do business, those with whom we partner and those whom we serve with love, compassion, respect, honesty, purity and integrity. As we cultivate and promote the value of emotional and spiritual health from a Biblical perspective, we will remain focused on those in need. We will rely solely on Jesus Christ for all of the fruits and growth of this organization. We will acknowledge our total reliance on God through prayer, humility and obedience as we follow the guidance and direction of the Holy Spirit. We will give all the praise, glory and honor to the Lord for our future success and everything He entrusts to H.O.P.E.

Our Ministry Plan

Our ministry plan is simple:

Pray. Wait for God to answer. After we hear from God, do what the Holy Spirit tells us to do and do not do what the Holy Spirit tells us not to do.

This ministry plan is founded on Galatians 5:25, “Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives.”
